Belgrade Train Station: A Challenging Experience
Belgrade’s train station was perhaps the most difficult place for us to find in Serbia. There are various stations, both old and new, with different descriptions from people. The locals, much like us, are always eager to help and will give you directions, but it can still be confusing.
If you rely on navigation apps like Google, Yandex, or Pedal, you may end up at an old station that is no longer in full operation.
We used this train station to travel to Montenegro. If you’re heading to Podgorica or Bar, this station will be your point of departure, unless you decide to opt for a bus instead.
How to Reach Belgrade Train Station for Montenegro
To reach the train station for your journey to Montenegro, start by entering “Studentski try” in your navigation app. This stop is located in the center of Belgrade, easily accessible by walking.
From there, board the red trolleybus number 41, which runs frequently. After 5-6 stops, you will reach the train station.
